Baked Cheddar Bacon Pepper Jelly Dip
This warm, cheesy dip is the kind of appetizer that disappears fast at any gathering — tailgates, holidays, or just a Friday night with friends. Sharp cheddar and crispy bacon make a rich, savory base, and a generous layer of Dottie's Five Pepper Jelly on top brings the sweet heat that makes this dip stand out from the usual queso or spinach dip lineup.
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 4 slices bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled
- 2 green onions, sliced
- ½ cup Dottie's Five Pepper Jelly
- Crackers or toasted baguette, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar, half the bacon, and half the green onions. Mix until well combined.
- Spread the mixture into a small baking dish or pie plate.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, until hot and bubbly around the edges.
- Remove from the oven and immediately spread Dottie's Five Pepper Jelly evenly over the top.
- Top with the remaining bacon and green onions.
- Serve warm with crackers.
Tip: This dip can be assembled ahead of time — mix and refrigerate the cheese base, then bake and add the jelly just before serving.
